Karnataka Management Aptitude Test is in short known as KMAT organized by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association. This examination is conducted for allotting seats in MBA/PGDM/MCA courses in colleges of  Karnataka State. From participants of this KMAT the board is collecting applications from May 2018. Karnataka Management Aptitude Test Exam Date

KMAT is a postgraduate level program offered by more than 164+ AICTE approved B-Schools located across Karnataka and Bangalore, and the test conducted in 10 cities of the country. The KMAT 2018 Exam Date is also scheduled i.e on  July 2018. Aspirants who decided to get admission in MBA/MCA courses especially in Karnataka state can register for KMAT Exam.

The institutes which accept the score of Karnataka Management Aptitude Test score are Alliance University, MS Ramaiah, Mount Carmel, PESIT, MP Birla Institute, IFIM Business School, Acharya Institute of Management and Sciences, etc. KMAT can apply through online or offline mode by paying application fee of Rs. 1000 from  May 2018 and the last date to submit the KMAT Application Form 2018 is  July 2018.

KMAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who are applying for the KMAT must satisfy the below criteria:

For MBA/PGDM Courses:

  • Applying candidates must hold a three year Bachelor Degree/Master Degree in Commerce, Management, Social Sciences, Arts, Engineering/Technology or equivalent.
  • They need to pass with at least 50% marks for general category and for SC/ST category 45% marks.
  • Appearing candidates who are waiting for the final year exam result are also eligible to apply.

For MCA Program:

  • Candidates must pass Bachelor Degree with 50% marks and have studied Mathematics in intermediate or at graduation level.

KMAT 2018 Exam Pattern:

The exam will be in pen paper based mode which will be held on 30 July.  Students need to complete the exam in 120 minutes.  Test will be objective type with 120 multiple choice questions divided into three sections.

Applicants will get the admission based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam. The KPPGCA will allot the rank to every qualified person based on the score.
